Stalan kansainvälistyminen otti jättiloikan 23.9.2020 tapahtuneen yrityskaupan seurauksena. Stalan uusi omistaja Kovinoplastika Lož Group toimii 7 maassa omien myyntikonttoreidensa kautta ja ALVEUS -tuotemerkin allastuotteita myydään yli 50 maassa. Tämä verkosto mahdollistaa STALA -brändin levittäytymisen yhä laajemmalle markkina-alueelle nykyisen reilun 10 vientimaan lisäksi.
Slovenialainen metallinjalostusyritys, Kovinoplastika Lož Group, on ostanut 100% Stala Oy:n osakekannasta 23.9.2020 allekirjoitetulla kauppasopimuksella. Stalatube Oy:n omistukseen kauppa ei vaikuta, koska jo vuodesta 2004 alkaen yritykset ovat olleet täysin erillisiä.
Yrityskaupan myötä Kovinoplastika vahvistaa strategista tavoitettaan olla Euroopan kolmen suurimman keittiötaso ja -allasvalmistajan joukossa. Stalan hankinta tukee tätä tavoitetta luontevasti Stalan korkealaatuisten tuotteiden sekä erinomaisen kotimarkkina-aseman ansiosta.
’’Kovinoplastikassa arvostetaan suuresti Stalassa tehtyä pitkäjänteistä työtä, yhtiön henkilökunnan erinomaista osaamista ja modernia tuotantolaitosta Lahdessa’’, sanoo Borut Flander, Kovinoplastika Ložin toimitusjohtaja. Nämä Stalan menestyksen kulmakivet nähdään olevan myös jatkossa avainasemassa, lisää Flander. Viime vuosina Kovinoplastika on toteuttanut kasvustrategiaansa eritoten keittiöaltaissa ALVEUS-tuotevalikoimalla. Yhtiön liikevaihdon kasvu pohjaa tuotekehitykseen ja ALVEUS-tuotemerkkiin.
Borut Flanderin mukaan Kovinoplastikassa on tiedostettu muotoilun tärkeys ja sen pohjalta yhtiö pyrkii rakentamaan kestävää kasvua myös tulevaisuudessa: ALVEUS- ja STALA-tuotemerkeillä on toisiaan täydentävät valikoimat, jotka mahdollistavat myynnin eri markkinoilla. Stala Oy on ollut vuodesta 1972 Rajamäen perheen omistuksessa. Yhtiön perustajan tytär ja Stala Oy:n hallituksen puheenjohtaja Tuija Rajamäki näkee isänsä perustamalle yritykselle uudenlaisen jatkumon Koviplastikan omistuksessa ja sanoo: ’’Jotta tämän hienon yrityksen tarina voisi jatkua, olemme löytäneet uuden teollisen omistajan, Kovinoplastika Loz -ryhmän. Kovinoplastika Lož (www.kovinoplastika.si) on slovenialainen yhtiö, jolla on pitkä historia metallinjalostuksen alalla. Yhtiö on perustettu 1954 ja se työllistää noin 700 henkilöä seitsemässä Euroopan maassa. Yhtiön toiminta on jaettu kolmeen osaan; ikkuna- ja ovimekanismit (Fittings), teollisuusmuottien suunnittelu ja valmistus (Toolshop) sekä keittiöaltaiden, metallisten keittiöastioiden sekä vastaavien tarvikkeiden valmistus (Inox). Yhtiön pääpaikka on Lož:ssa Sloveniassa, jossa sijaitsee myös yhtiön tuotantolaitos. Keittiöaltaat ja -tuotteet myydään ALVEUS -tuotemerkillä. Yhtiöllä on toimipisteitä seitsemässä Euroopan maassa ja sen tuotteita myydään nykyään yli 50 eri maassa.
Stala Oy (www.stala.fi) on lahtelainen pk-yritys, jonka nykyisen hallituksen puheenjohtajan Tuija Rajamäen isä Reino Rajamäki perusti vuonna 1972. Yhtiö työllistää 44 henkeä ja vuoden 2019 liikevaihto oli 10,7 miljoonaa euroa. Tärkeimpinä tuotealueina ovat kotikeittiöiden altaat ja tasot, jätelajitteluvaunut sekä postilaatikot.
